










Qualifications
Over the years I have upskilled myself to suit the needs of my clients. Here is a non exhaustive list:
PART 1
THE FUNDAMENTALS
FUNDAMENTALS 1:
- Understanding human anatomy (Skeletal and Muscular system of the human body).
- Kinesiology
- Analyzing the ‘Structural integrity’ of the human body. From postural analysis and gait from walking, running and ‘loading’.
- Establishing and letting them see their own real benchmark and for you to understand how to proceed.
- Problem solving for the body and applying all necessary exercise physiology to remedy or correct what is needed.
FUNDAMENTALS 2:
- Building the initial relationship. Understanding the individual, what they want vs Reality and letting them hear the honest truths. Being realistic.
- Their commitment to the objective.
- Enhance and Increase their present level of motivation and giving them further clarity.
- Provide answers to questions and remove any myths, misconceptions, misinformation they may have.
- Setting your price and letting them understand cancellation policy and prior notice.
PART 2
- HELPING YOUR CLIENT GET STARTED/YOUR CLIENT’S FIRST WORKOUT
- Punctuality practice. For both parties, client and Trainer. The need to prep before their arrival.
- Take measurements, BP, resting HR, etc.
- Breaking in the body session. What is needed (More focus on SAFETY, UNDERSTANDING THE CLIENT’S LIMITATIONS, ABILITY TO FOCUS, COORDINATION, AGILITY, FLEXIBILITY, STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES AND LEARNING PROPER FORM FOR ALL EXERCISES, OUR WAY VS THEIR WAY OR OLD HABITS).
- Communicating the plan and objective without sounding like a lecturer or doctor.
- The end of the session must provide a positive reinforcement of why they came in the first place and further proof that it was the smartest investment they ever made.
- Scheduling and committing to the plan.
PART 3
- YOUR CLIENT’S 3rd MONTH AND ONWARDS
- Progress report. Showing and explaining where the progress areas are.
- Incremental challengers applying physically and mentally. Strength, Stamina, Focus, NeuroMuscular control, Flexibility..
- Increase frequency plan if necessary.
- How to handle client’s who are missing out on one too many sessions and how to curb it effectively.
- Effective eating and sustainable lifestyle changes and adaptation.
PART 4
- YOUR CLIENT’S ADVANCED TRAINING
- Reviewing a client’s progress and moving onwards to more advanced exercises.
- Helping your client to deepen focus and execution.
- Ways to push them beyond their mental and physical boundaries/limitations.
- Letting them understand muscle memory and ‘long term residual effect’.
- Still returning to basics and with even a greater execution challenge.
- Networking. Start getting their partners, friends, family involved. Get them in.
- Understanding how to train Geriatrics and children.
- Supplementation advice and ‘diet’ control and freedom.
- Injuries, therapy and medical condition cases.
- Advance core exercises.
- Boxing, Kickboxing introduction.
- Incorporating Pilates techniques.
- Water therapy.
- Deep Water Training
- Advanced flexibility exercises.
- Deep tissue massage.
